Why do we wax?
Personally, I wax my own legs.
At 15, I started shaving (hated the ridicule from other teens).*I wish I had listened to my mom*
At 23, when I started on the path to be an esthetician my mother said you can't do unto others unless you can get done yourself, so started my wax journey.
At 28, I took a step back from waxing, still continued getting it done, but never having time to get my legs done, so I went back to shaving them.
At 33 after taking over for my mom i decided to start doing it myself again. immediately the hair went back to like i never stopped waxing.
Now at 36, I only have to do my legs every 6-8 weeks.

Hand built nails
Dremel is never used on the natural nails.
For added length I build by hand using horseshoe forms and a technique i developed myself to create a natural look as well as feel. (picture #6 & 7 before and after)
My own nails have taken years to get to where they are. (picture #1 was before acrylic, picture #2 is about 10 years later.
Overlay is done just on the natural nail (or with a bit of added length (usually for reshaping)) it allows the wearer to adjust to the new nails easier, and allow the natural nail to grow without needing have a tip clipped off with each fill. (pictures #3, 4 (before and after) & 5 (2 yrs later) are of a client who started with a tad bit more length to get started and change shape, now has naturally long nails (daycare provider for reference))
